Eyes

Nenn nind n karyo - jaaggo ta ddiso jaanib Jo jamal.
Na - t - ggaarinde ggorraa - jaanib Je judai - a - jaa.
Bie paase n kariyo - E nidoriu nigaah
Hoo aahe be parvaah - mattaa moggiu taddij nikiro.
Rukiyoo raho keenaki - aahe ajab avhaa ji reet.
Laahe par saa preet - thiyo putthiriu preen saa.
Uthi passo peshani preen-a-ji - bie dde karion- nazar.
Taa raho sadaai bahaar - E nidoriyoo Nawaab chave.

Sai Jaanali Badshah addresses our eyes saying not to go to sleep but concentrate on janib-murshid, else our eyes would shed tears of separation. He tells them to not waiver their sight towards other worldly things otherwise they would be exiled from that beautiful darshan. Eyes are seeing all that’s there in their surroundings but are still being blind as they are unable to see janib – jo- jamaal (soulless beauty) and get happiness from indulgence with God. Seeing him will bring in immense joy as he is - beparivaah badshah.

Hin srishiti a jo - tha sair Kan Je chasham.
Se andhiyu akhiyu - kii a kandiyu khareed Khushiyoo hin mulik ma.
Attah - ee pahir ajeeban ji - rakho rukh manjh nazar.
T loddo N lahar - hin sansaaree sagar jo.

Eyes which are regularly involved in seeing sceneries of this world, they are considered to be blind because happiness of this worldly sceneries are not long lasting so they cannot give that bliss of happiness. If eyes concentrate on murshid, then this body does not suffer in this worldly life. They enjoy utmost happiness of seeing roohani nazaara.

Ears

Lakhe ghalihyoo lok joo - achan budhyo bayi Kan
Aahin ahidda hafaal jin jaa - se n hujan saann moo
Uhe hujan moo vat - je sunnan n bie ji ggaalh
Lok lai bai bodda thiyo - sunno sadaa sadd supri a jaa
Taa raho sandas saa gaddu - tavihii taa kayaamat taai
Uhe ghosh n ghurijan - je budhan biye ji guftaar
Se sahib ddem-sataar - je sunnan sadd suprie a jaa

Ears are powerful sense organs and are all the time hearing about many things involving people and other worldly beings and objects. Sai says: I request that I do not want such ears with that habit, let both my ears be deaf towards the listening of other things. My ears should always be open to concentrate on the secret whispering voice of my Murshid all the time, including on the day of death and at the time of death.

Hands

Uthii buhaariyo baii hath - avihii angann ajiban jo Kariyo kooddaa n kath - raho rujoo haaj mei
Khannii kuniro kurub saa - dhuaariyo dildaar ja hath per
N kariyo ajaai der - raho har dam rudhal haaj mei
Hujaaitaa hath n thiyo - badhi baahoon kariyo niyaaz

Present yourself before your guru humbly with folded hands. Do not count your achievements unnecessarily. Be cautious of your duties and perform them humbly. Holding a container filled with water, wash hands and feet of your guru politely. Do not unnecessarily delay and dither; rather be involved continuously in this gracious task.

Speech / Lips

Re taarif rab rasool rahibar ji - bii boli n boliyo
Mataa hoo lab chavan ta budhosien so sabhu goshan khaa

Permit your lips to speak only the verses which indicate the praises of murshid and God. Else the lips would remark that it only recited that which it heard through the ears

Brain

Hinan kanan moggan maghaz khe - aahe vidho manjh vichaar
Tho rahei manjh ggubaar - athai pahir abbojhan je
Aahin dagabaaz daoos thaa doraain dimaag khe

The ears have handicapped my brain and created inner conflict, turmoil and emotional turbulence. These ears are the culprits who make the brain sing to their tune.

Intellect (Akul)

Munjhaae mat akul ji - oggaa uddraarin tha
zaag khe Zaag jia zarii zarii - thiyo akul oono aahe
Aahe aajiz akul thiyo - laggii lafungan saann
Taddahin piyas jjaan - jaddahin jaffaa aayus jaan khe
Illim akul ghairrat gharrur - naahe mirun vat moor
Aahin charai insanan vat - poi samjhi haliichho - na - tho jatt

The intellect has lost its senses and created turmoil and is wavering like the zaag bird. The intellect has become restless with much confusion and has lost its confidence bit by bit. Alas, this is realised very late - when life has reached to its end. One has to realise the fact that one has been blessed by knowledge, intellect, pride and prestige which is not available in any other creation of God. One better understands this earliest and be clear in ones thoughts.

Use of Intellect
Illim akul paann me - e - milli - jaddah thia yak - raai
Ggolhe ladhaaoo saa jaai - jaa jagg - n - ddithii huii kaddah
Aarif illim udinii a khe - thaa kan shamil kuli akul saann
Vijjaae pahinjo paann - thaa saabit kan subhaan khe

Intellect, along with clear knowledge and understanding, will be able to reach that secret street which is out of reach of the common man. Wise people who are knowledgeable in spirituality always combined both knowledge and intellect; they convert their Hasti into Nisti and prove themselves before God Almighty.
